As a Solution Architect at Deploy, you will serve as a trusted advisor to our customers, bridging the gap between complex business requirements and solutions in Salesforce. You will help customers navigate their Salesforce journey by designing scalable processes, knowing when to leverage standard capabilities v.s programmatic solutions. You will also be expected to act as a mentor to your colleagues, sharing your competence and helping your colleagues grow in their roles.
Your daily work will include, but is not limited to:
Facilitating client workshops to uncover business pain points and define clear project scopes.
Working closely with Product Owners and business stakeholders to translate high-level requirements into detailed solution designs.
Leading the configuration and automation activities during customer engagements.
Defining the data model and security architecture to ensure a robust and scalable foundation.
Designing functional solutions, ensuring alignment with Salesforce best practices and long-term maintainability.
Creating comprehensive documentation of business processes and solution designs.
Facilitate knowledge sharing and successful adoption.
Acting as a bridge between the business stakeholders and technical teams (such as Developers) to ensure a cohesive end-to-end solution.
Collaborate with internal team members to help customers increase the value of their Salesforce products and services.
Support internal initiatives to grow Deploy’s consulting practice; contribute to the overall knowledge base and expertise of your colleagues.
Ideal Candidate
Has a deep understanding of the Salesforce platform, with a "standard-first" mindset, knowing when to use declarative tools and when to recommend programmatic solutions.
Is a great communicator who can translate technical jargon into business value for stakeholders at all levels.
Has strong problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset focused on business process improvement.
Is proactive in challenging proposed requirements to guide customers toward more efficient and scalable ways of working.
Is not satisfied when a solution “just works”, but instead strives to optimize the user experience (UX) and to streamline processes.
Is eager to stay ahead of the curve on Salesforce releases and new functional features.
Has the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in team deliveries.
Requirements
Salesforce Skills: Strong proficiency in Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and the Salesforce Platform. You have solid understanding of declarative and programmatic Salesforce capabilities, patterns and anti-patterns, and best practices.
Consulting Skills: Proven experience in business process mapping, requirement gathering, and managing stakeholder expectations.
Personal Skills: Proactiveness, strong presentation skills, and a "can-do" mentality with a passion for problem-solving.
Good to have
Salesforce Qualifications: Baseline Salesforce certifications, incl. Platform Administrator, Sales Cloud Consultant and Service Cloud Consultant. Additional certifications such as Platform App Builder, Sharing and Visibility Architect, and other cloud-specific certifications (e.g. Experience Cloud or Data Cloud) is a plus.
Salesforce Skills: Experience from Agentforce and Data Cloud implementations is a plus.
Professional background: Prior consulting experience is a plus.
