Salesforce Technical Architect/Developer

As a Technical Architect you will first and foremost serve as a trusted advisor to our customers, helping them navigate through and solve technical challenges that they have in their Salesforce journey. You will also be expected to act as support and mentor to your colleagues, sharing your competence and helping your colleagues grow in their roles.

Your daily work will include, but is not limited to:

• Facilitating client workshops.

• Work closely with clients and their business to define scalable, secure solution designs.

• Lead Technical Architecture and Governance for customer engagements.

• Lead and mentor development in projects.

• Designing technical solutions and working directly with customers to meet their business requirements in accordance with Salesforce best practices.

• Create comprehensive documentation of processes, systems, and guidelines to facilitate knowledge sharing and standardization.

• Identify and proactively manage risk areas and commit to seeing an issue through to complete resolution.

• Ensure high-quality development across Apex, LWC, integrations, and declarative tools.

• Be responsible for ensuring that the system accurately meets the defined expectations of the business and ensuring that proper testing is implemented.

• Collaborate with internal team members to help customers increase the value of their Salesforce products and services.

• Support internal initiatives to grow Deploy’s consulting practice; contribute to the overall knowledge base and expertise of your colleagues.

  Ideal Candidate

• Has a very strong understanding of the Salesforce platform, how to use and combine declarative and programmatic Salesforce capabilities to develop efficient, scalable and maintainable applications within the platform.

• Is proactive in getting answers to clarify topics and does that by clearly communicating to stakeholders.

• Can challenge proposed requirements and solutions to guide customers and stakeholders on how to use Salesforce in the best way.

• Is not satisfied when a solution just works, but instead strives to make it efficient, scalable and maintainable, applying best practices and documenting the functioning and decisions taken.

• Is eager to learn about Salesforce and other new technologies, and is happy to help and teach others.

• Has very strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Has the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in team deliveries.

Requirements

• Salesforce Skills: Strong proficiency in Salesforce Service Cloud, Salesforce Sales Cloud and Salesforce Platform, including solid understanding of declarative and programmatic Salesforce capabilities, hard and soft limits, patterns and anti-patterns and best practices. Experience designing and building Salesforce integrations with third-party applications

• Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Apex, LWC, REST APIs, and JavaScript.

• Personal Skills: Proactiveness, Communication, “Can-do” mentality and eagerness to learn.

Good to have

• Salesforce Qualifications: Salesforce Platform Developer I, Salesforce Platform Developer II, Salesforce Application Architect, Salesforce System Architect

• Salesforce Skills: Experience from Agentforce and Data Cloud implementations

• Technical Skills: JavaScript framework (React, NextJS), Cloud Technologies (AWS, Google Cloud, etc)

• Professional background: Prior consulting experience is a plus.
